Don't buy into the BLUFF! When they open mouth hiss, just pick them up. You might take a bite on occassion when they're babies, but you don't want to let them bluff you and end up with an aggressive one. I haven't had one bite me yet when bluffing, but one time at a show I had some people come up and tell me the argentine babies they bought from me the year before were EVIL. I had one of the siblings with me and pulled her right out...tame as can be! They said they always hissed, and they were scared to pick them up. So, call the bluff, and they'll quit doing it quickly.
