They are the perfect python. I have some basic information on my website. They also will eat just about anything, and I have fed mine rats, mice, chickens, pigeons (captive raised), and hamsters. They do eat rabbits in the wild. They are calm and easily handled and are bullet proof as far as care goes. They do get around 8 ft long, so they are longer than a lot of the Morelia. I would definately reccommend them and they are one of my favorites. I would also suggest a bigger cage than 36" long, as they are very active and will use as large a cage as you want to give them.
