Personally when my snakes are over 500g on an empty stomach they start eating 200g rats, I have had no problems until that I give them weaned rats till they are about 250g and then to small rats once they are over 250g. A proper sized meal will leave them with a nice bulge in their belly for 2 - 3 days. If you feed your snake and a couple hours later you can't tell they have eaten go ahead and offer something larger next time or give 2 of the size you have been giving. [ Hide Replies ]
