SHEDDING/BREEDING/OVULATION HELP ME PLEEASE

My female has been breeding my male and she stopped wanting to eat and breed over the course of 2-3 weeks then she shed and immediatly started breeding again is this a good thing was that a pre ovulation shed if so when can i possibly expect ovulation but she still refuses to eat and she has never refused food unless gravid someone help me
