The Salmon that started it all for me!

I actually didnt like the way these came out. This was the first time I tried boa pictures on the white stepping stones... no good. White is too bright in the sunlight (im a poet), most shots were overexposed. He is in the darkest of dark phases here. His head is a charcoal grey/black in this phase. It turns a medium-light brown in light phase. One of my favorite things about him is his saddle shape and pattern. I finally got a good shot of his orange belly! A close up anyway.

This is "Nefarion", my 2003 Pos-SuperSalmon for anyone who doesnt already know him . He was my very first salmon and really got me hooked on them.













Orange Belly!



In this (and the belly pic above) I held him high in the air (sun is at major slant at 4:00 here, when I took the pics). That lights up him well and really shows his color. See where the bright orange belly starts at the bottom?
