i'd soak him in 15 minute intervals, but do it like morning and night. maybe 30 at the most. What kind of substrate do you have in your tank?
One thing that is a huge debate is the fact that aspen, or any wood for that matter, will cause blockage and is not digestable whatsoever. Wood is an organic carbon based compound, which can be digested by the system perfectly fine. the only problem is if there is too big of a piece, just like too big of a prey item, it won't digest properly. However, instead of regurging this wood, most of the time it will just block the intestinal tract. ----- -Chris
