I would agree though that finding poss het females would be a good plan. I have a young het pied male and loaned out my one female that was breeding size this year to a friend with a het pied male so that we can split the babies wich will be 50% het pied, all the females I get will be kept back and bred eventually to my het male wich will be big enough by then hopefully prove some of the females out. I am also purchasing a male pastel this year that is 50% het orange ghost that I got a good price on. I will have at least 5 with a max I think of 9 females that will be breeding size this year and I'm planning on 5 of them going to the pastel and if I get more than that breeding size I will pair them up with the het males. | ||
