RE: Heat gun input

I use a Raytek MT4 laser model.

I found it on sale for $50 about 4 years ago.

I first looked at the Raytek’s because they were used for professional applications, and known for their quality.

Well I’m hooked; I love it, and would buy another if this one dies.

I can’t give you specs to compare to other brands about accuracy, but I checked it out when I purchased mine. They claimed they were the same or better then any of the other manufactures out there.

That’s the thing, you have to believe the manufacturer, that their product is accurate within plus/-2% or plus/- 3deg F whichever is greater.

I have checked mine against several other thermometers and thermostats, and it always gives a comparably reading within tenths.
