It could mean the end of the world or something, but my male Leopard rat (whose about 3.5 years old) FINALLY ate a f/t fuzzy. He's only been eating live prey since I received him about 1.5 years ago and I'd pretty much given up ever getting him to take f/t prey. The person who sold him to me said he'd only taken live prey in the time he'd had him. I offered the snake 3 live crawlers for his first spring meal a couple weeks ago(a little furrier than a fuzzy but not quite hoppers) and he avoided them for 3 days. He's eaten prey up to hopper size in the past, so I thought they'd be small enough to get him started. Then on Saturday, on a whim, I put an extra f/t small fuzzy in the tub and amazingly, he ate it. Don't ever give up on them! He was the last exclusively live feeder in my collection of 19 various snakes, so my life has now gotten a lot easier!
