Where did you get the frozen thawed from? A reputable company? Just asking. Is the turd hard? If it is, could it possibly be some sort of tumor that was in the food that the snake couldn't digest? Perhaps maybe something, as was stated in the other post, some type of plastic the rat may have injested before being killed and frozen from whoever you bought the food from?
