Hello All,
Although I've cruised this forum for over a year I never got around to posting. I just thought I would introduce myself and get somewhat acquainted with some of you...as I will be posting more often.
My name is Justin Campbell, I am 27 years old and I live in Fort Pierce, FL. I am the publice relations person for the St. Lucie Regional Herpetological Soceity and the Production Manager for the Hometown News Newspaper Group.
I have been keeping various colubrids & a few boids all of my life. Just a year ago while turkey hunting, I found my first Eastern Indigo in central Florida (Picture Attached I Think... First Try ). And I have been absolutely hooked since.
I'm sure I don't have to tell you - but, I can't walk on water, so the state of Florida will not issue a permit for couperi... I think I have a better shot at keeping a King Cobra legally.
That being said, I still have a fire of passion for couperi... (It will just have to wait for now) but, I have turned my interest to erebennus, in that they are easier to obtain in Florida.
If anyone reading this is expecting texas hatchlings I am very interested in purchasing a pair... please email me and we'll talk.
And to those in the forum who are well respected, i.e. Dean, Chuck, Robert Seib, Robert Bruce, Old Herper, and others I've not mentioned, I look forward to learning more from you about these fantastic animals.
Take care & thanks for reading.
Justin Campbell
