I don't personally use boaphile cages but I've heard some good things about them. All of my indigos are kept in Visions and Neodeshas; both plastic style cages. A 6' cage is ample room for a single adult so you should be in good shape. In terms of heating, heat tape or overhead sources work fine. I personally prefer an overhead incadescent bulb/spot lamp as it provides both light and heat for my indigos; they do enjoy basking underneath them. If you go with a UTH, I would recommend a fluorescent light for the cage to better simulate daytime conditions.

>>I'm looking into buying some 6' cages for my adult Indigos. I'm leaning towards the boaphile product line, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these or other plastic cages with their Indigos. One of my other questions is whether belly heat (via heat tape) is enough for Indigos, or whether they need overhead heat for basking.
