Well, I've never "witnessed" copulation, however my original female laid 5 duds last year, which was the first year I had a male for her. I've got a trio now and am interested to see how this is going to turn out. Mine seemed to breed around the same time as my beauties which are kept on a photocycle, were light/temperate cycles are determined by the actual daylight periods. In other words, when it's day, the lights are on, when it's night, the lights are off. Winter produces shorter "daylight" periods, and thus longer times without heat lamps and variably cooler temps. With the return of spring/summer days, they are warmer for longer periods of time. It seems that all of my asians that don't require an actual cooling can be triggered this way. ----- Conrad
