Dude, Phil,
Next week I'm gonna go out a couple of times, this week I gotta work so I can pay for my Sacramento/Tahoe trip (snowboarding). But, yeah, I caught it at Bell Mountain, 3/4 of the way up sitting on a rock, chased under rocks, lifted about five before catching him. That far up there's a lot of small rocks, one of the rocks had some desert rat pinkies, in a nest, under it. Fed them to my rattler and rosy. The rattler won't eat cb mice but it took down the wc pinkies in no time, kinda weird. The collared seems to be having a hard time adjusting to his new home, ate like crazy at first but I think he over did it cause he hasn't eaten much since. My rosy ate two small mice in row, it usually only eats one. And the last bit of news, we're thinking of breeding our own mice again so we can control their diet. It's healthier for the snakes if the mice are healthier. Feed them high nutrition chicken feed pellets. Anyway, I'll try to give you a call some time next week.
-Luke
