hey now, take it easy on the dealer.
the lumps turned out to be worms, and the vet said, that they probably wouldn't harm the snake. but he removed them and gave it an antibiotic injection which i have to repreat in a couple of weeks.
i must say, when he would make an incision and pop the worms out, i about puked, it was pretty nasty.
apparently the snake ate a bird or frog or something that was a host, the snake is useless to the worm, so it burries itself under the skin and when the snake gets eat, it then becomes active again.
the dealer, who is a reknown turtle breeder gave me a nice sum of money back, and yes, i would buy from him again.
he is a very good guy.
