wall scratching

i have noticed in my personal experience that collared tend to wall scratch more in glass aquariums than in other types of cages.



just curious if anyone else has noticed this to be true? i have both wooden and glass setups.



i put the lizards in the wood cage in brumation and since it was bigger, i moved the lizards that were in the glass tank to the wooden one.



one of my recently aquired lizards was wall scratching in the glass tank but now he seems content to explore and relax in a more visually confining space.



the wooden cage has a clear front only and occasionally a few lizards will come up to the glass, but they dont persistantly scratch.



also, the juvenile collared i just got is now in the glass tank and is scrathing.



Has anyone seen a difference from glass cages opposed to other types?
