with my 421D Boaphiles because they maintain humidity so well. Normally it wasn't an issue but if the animal went in to soak in the water dish the displaced water would spill out over the substrate and there would be condensate all over the glass. Knocked over water dishes was another cause. I finally sold off the cages and went with Visions. They don't hold humidity nearly as well but I decided to humidify the entire room and that way not have to worry about the level of each individual cage.
