Hybridization happens in the wild but it's not uncommon for Giant Day Geckos to have blue on them. It's rare but it doesn't mean that he's part blue-tailed day gecko. If you are up to the challenge a female blue-tailed may mate with your male and produce the kind of offspring that you are looking for. Blue-tails look exactly like G.D.G. except that ther are smaller, have a lot more orange spots and have a lot of blue from head to tail. The hardest part is keeping the blue-tailed from dying since they are so hard to maintain.

Yesterday I found a website all about day gecko integration but I can't remember how I found it! I'll keep looking.
