My tub actually had a drain.. I had a hose running from it to an old fluval canister filter...



Lets just say that I no longer have the drain in it anymore.. The problem was that the amount of waste my blackthroat put in the water was and is extreme... One dump would clog the filter almost immediately, and this was a filter for a 75 gallon fish tank and since it was running with a lot less tubing, the pressure on it was less also!



The other major problem I had was that all the urine that came out with it COULD NOT be taken out of the water... The water might have looked "clean," but in actuality, it was awful...



Now I just slide out the whole container, but it is getting crazy... Not to mention that the 2 foot drop to the floor had the unwanted effect of splashing lots of stinky water everywhere.
