Andy, look at the sides of the tail. See the orange patches where there is normally black? If that animal were a normal the patches would be black, or grey. Melanin shows as browns and blacks . The animal you were asking about before has brown saddles, and the normal black patches in the sides of the tail. The hypo shows the orange patches because that is color that is there, but isn't normally seen because it is covered, or concealed by melanin. Hypomelanistic= reduced black. reduce the black and the orange shows through. That animal is obviously a hypo, yours is obviously not, even though it is a nice light animal. OF course, these are just my thoughts, and am more than willing to be educated if I am wrong.
