Greedy government? Isn’t this the same government that has and will continue to protect you Johnson? If you have it so bad here, I am sure there plenty better places for you in this world. Why aren’t you there?

Furthermore, our government does much to encourage small business and the like. I personally know of specific government contracts whose intent is to help develop small businesses while developing new technologies. To say that our government discourages productive business is totally unfounded, inaccurate and very much the antithesis to the truth.

If the government was so concerned about getting a piece of the associated tax action, they’d monitor the industry more and tighten control, not seek bans on that industry (or bands as you like to call them). Rather, I think most would agree that the reptile community has gotten some bad press due to a few irresponsible keepers who are more of the exception than the rule. This, when combined with a generally misinformed public, paves the way for these “bans”.
