Vision recommends using a bulb no higher than 60 watts in their 6 inch shrouds. I need to raise the heat a bit and have heard that you can use a higher wattage bulb with in reason-such as a 75w with no problems. Has anyone done this with success or used a halogen bulb for more heat? I would think that the total heat generated by the bulb is the real factor here and not the sheer wattage of the bulb. Thanks for your advice-Bill. [ Hide Replies ]
