also, i am a beginner builder as well, this is only my second cage that i have built, my first cage was same dimensions, just not as tall, one stacked ontop of another. I am in the HVAC trade and made these cages with a sawzall, circular saw, and drill, and some basic light fixtures from home depot, i had to buy no special tools or anything. I am mechanically inclined, but not a craftsman by any means, if i could do it, anybody can...lol
