Thanks for taking a look. Yes, I have been thinking for a few months that these were hybrids of some sort. I emailed the people I bought from (I dont' want to identify here), and they contacted the producer. I was told when I bought them by the seller that they had personally seen the parents and were quality. THe producer told them last week after I inquired that his adults came from VPI, and he has no reason to believe they are not "pure". I questioned it because it only takes one pairing to produce in theory. If he had a couple of carpets together for even a short period of time.



I still like them, but not what I was going for.
