Posted by: superfly at Sun Mar 27 09:35:47 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by superfly ] ok first you say the heat is up 90-95...but what is the humidity/ sounds like the burm is severely de-hydrated...weird as it sounds my snakes like gatorade when they are sick. may be good m may be bad but they like it and it keeps them hydrated. the other poster was right though, if the snake is sooo dry, and losing weigth there is something more than a RI here. get it to a good herp vet. if you are in florida i know there re a lot of good ones there. i used to have a wonderful guy that did all my stuff when i lived in sunrise fla> he did all exotics and was good. even saved my largest iguana through surgery one time. ill try to find his name and number and post it laster although that was in the 1980's! i applaude you on gettin the snake away from those clowns at the flea market. look for mites also...soak him a little more and see if any show up in the water. i hope you can save him...i have seen them bad like this before. my big male had pneumonia and was dehydrated when i got him. it took 6 months but i have had him for a loooong time now and he is perfect! and i tell ya its almost like he knows that i saved him from certain death. good luck bro | ||
