Yes, I know of the Barkers but have never had the honor of meeting them in person (yet). It's certainly on my to-do list (amongst other things) as I admire them and what they have done greatly. On the rare days when things are harder than usual in our animal maintainence and my wife becomes a little discouraged I tell her, "Com'mon hon,.. just think, you will be the next Tracey Barker." and her spirits and resolve rise and strengthen. But yes, I was aware of their past usual numbers and of Bob's approximate numbers,. but I was wondering if there was someone in Europe or Canada or some other part of the world that I didn't know about that may run many thousands of breeders at any given time. If not, maybe my calculations of 5 years is a little long.
>>The Barkers at one point had over 1000 animals. I'm not sure what their current total is. It may actually be higher, as they've mostly gotten out of the big-snake business and are concentrating on more manageable species like balls, bloods, etc. I'm sure you could ask them. ----- It isn't "Ideas" that fail or succeed,... it is the "Systems" which are instilled to launch and sustain the idea that either fail or succeed.>[Me.]
