Allllright Im going to say what works for me... Take it only as that... It works for me but not for all people....Steve and I only do boas and like to run our rooms warm.. the air temp in the snake room varies from 76-81 degrees... The hot side is run on freedom breeder tanks with the heat tape set at 95. Living in S. California offers me the ability to lower and raise the temps all at my control.. i never have to worry about outside temps playing with my snake room temps..Sooo breeding... in November i stop feeding my females...(note all my females eat every 7 days a meal of appropriate size for that snake, som people like to feed throughout breeding but... i find that my females will not eat after the male is introduced soooooo i just cut that part out...) and introduce my males in with two particular females that love to breed early and POS by the end of December. Those two get breed first and then down the list of ready and willing females rotating the males. The males i will seperate and feed every other week to every 3 weeks depending on the size and maturity of the male. Then i sit back and wait (god, Steve hates the waiting!!!) Let my males do there thing and seperate them after the POS shed... if my male shows little intrest i will seperate him for 3 days and then throw them together again.... Then anywhere from 100-112 days later the babies are there and the female goes back on food...

If there are more questions i can help you with i would love to give you any advice i could... AGAIN this is just want works for me and my particular set up....Hope this information was helpful for you.

Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind
