ok well i talked the lady into selling me the snakes with no contract... so i pay and walk away never to hear or see her again... so thats good news...

but she said something that kinda startled me... she hand feeds the snakes live rats... thats sounds crazy to me... the red tail is 8 feet and the burm (that i'm getting rid of ASAP) is 10 feet... now feeding by hand to a baby with tongs is one thing buy live rats by hand to a snake that big sounds nuts to me... does anyone out their do this??? i asked her why she did that and she said it was because the rats would escape from the bathroom before the snakes got them...
and i did ask her about the bathroom thing and it turns out that the bathroom is not used... in fact it has no toilet in it... only a tub for the snakes to play in...
but i do have a question... my moms house is only about 30 minutes from here but i live 2 hours and 40 min away... how would you all reccomend i transport these snakes??? i have a few large rubbermaid tubs that i used in the past for my snakes... and i also have a huge dufflebag... i dont pick these guys up till the 15th or around their...
ohhh and she also breeds her own rts that she is giving me... and it includes about 150 rats of all sizes... the funny thing about that is that the rats actually have a REALLY nice facility, but yet the snakes get dumped in the bathroom... i must admit i was vary impressed when she sent pics of her rat breeding area...
so if you guys could give me some advise on transporting them it would really apprecieate it..
