Hey all, this time I must remember to post the message...not just preview! LOL.
Anyway, I was expecting her to give birth so I was getting out the video camera and my digital camera....and out of the corner of my eye, I see her lifting her tail and starting to push!!! WOW!!! this is cool.
So what does any smart sensible married man do?? Hollar for his wife!!!! LOL. Well after I got her set up with the video camera...hehehe.. no I helped too. I snapped some pics with the camera and helped get the babies.
Well, my High Red Normal had ....
Mom had 18 live healthy ones...9 Salmons, and 9 Normals, and one born moving but underdeveloped, and died within a few minutes, and 2 slugs.
A very good litter for a 28 month old female...by the way I would not recomend breeding them that young, but I had no-where to put my male and he started breeding her while I was getting another cage built.
She did do well though and she looks good.
Have a great day all!! Andy Federico
