Posted by: zenexotics at Tue Apr 5 07:20:16 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by zenexotics ] Hi, shedding is completely normal and the frequency depends on how fast your cham is growing, how much their eating, etc. Young chams will shed more frequently as they get bigger. They will "rub" themselves on branches, in between plant stems, in between plants and the side of the screen cage, etc. to help remove the old skin. Here is a picture of my Nosey Be shedding. It took him about a half day to completely get all the old skin off...it always seems like the skin on his zygodactyl feet is last to come off. | ||
