Well if she was hibernating or quasi-hibernating, then she likely won't eat. My B.P. does not eat during the winter months, she goes into hibernation and the first warning we have of that is her refusal of food.

If your Ball is more or less starting to return to normal mode of activity, maybe try offering a couple of small mice, and then a couple days later her usual sized meal. That's what it takes for mine, in any case - she won't take anything of decent size on the first feeding (sometimes two) after hibernation, but she'll happily gobble up a couple of mice, then I offer the usual sized rat a couple of days later and she's back on her normal feeding schedule from there.

I'll let the breeders around here with all the know-how answer the breeding questions, though. :D
