...significant denting doesn't usually occur until the latter half of incubation, but egg positioning (ie, any torqing on the egg) can be a reason for earlier denting...certianly insufficient humidity can do it...

...Keep the humidity UP until the eggs pip...add a few ml's of water about every 7 days or so...humidity is lost when the egg chamber is opened for egg inspection...
