Help!Road Rash

I recently found a RES wandering down the road. I live in Alberta, Canada so this isn't exactly a normal thing. For now I have 2 questions. First it seems she may have road rash on the bottom of all her legs. They are brown patches about the size of a nickel. I am wondering if there is anything I can do for her or let them heal on their own.

#2 I keep her both in a pond and and aquarium at night. In either spot she does not come out of the water to bask. The only time she does come out of the water is to escape from the pond area and runaway. She is my little Houdini. My question is this: Is it bad for her to spend pretty much 24/7 in the water, and if so should I be seperating her from the water for an hour or 2 a day?
