Other than the concerns already mentioned, keep an eye out for people with dogs and cats. If not on their leash, a dog can run up and snatch a bearded dragon quite quickly. Deffinitely watch for th ese irresponsible dog/cat owners.



There is a chance a bearded dragon can pick up parasites from outside, everything from mites and ticks to internal worms. Though most internal parasites are very species specific, I do know of one green iquana contacting parasites from outside.
