I am a huge Aspidites fan and I find this hybrid fascinating. Now I am not saying that I am going to run out and buy some, but it is neat. I don't think that anyone would do this cross for monetary gain, it seems more so for s**ts and giggles. For hybrid folks, what more of a challenge is there than two different species. I must also add that I am not into doing hybrids myself, but this one is interesting looking.
As for the vw/Porsche comment, a stock motor in a Porsche, no point. I have a'67 bug with a larger than stock VW motor and I cover the 1/4 mile faster than most sport cars...11.00 flat naturally aspirated....now looking at turbo systems....hold on tight!
