hey there...i own two females myself and when i got them they were given to me not sold. i believe there was a post about a month or so ago about it and that you have to get a federal permit to buy or seel then across stae lines, you can give them away within a stae but if you sell one in stae you have to have a permit but the buyer does not. if you own them you can move from stae to stae and take them without a permit but as soon as you try to sell one you must have a permit. i think that is the way it was explained earlier. anyway they are beautiful and mine have been great so far. hope this helped ya
