I have never fed my snakes in a separate container and they have never missed a meal. IMO they could be getting stressed (Intimidated) from being moved at feeding time. If you are worried about your snakes striking at you as a feeding response when you want to hold them keep in mind the more you hold them the less they will think you are food. [ Hide Replies ]
