please clarify...
'clear' snake shed skin was hanging off?
the snake's skin was cut/hanging off? (blood?)
the snakes scale was 'raised', like a bump?

if it is a piece of shed skin, chances are your snake is ready to shed.
when going INTO a shed, they cloudy up, blue eyes, then clear up right before they do shed. chances are there is not enough humidity and he will begin shedding in pieces.
Raise the humidity.. mist/spray it while in this condition.

if different, please clarify..

thanks, Joe
