The book that I started with was The General Care and Maintenance of Burmese Pythons By Philippe de Vosjoli, it had good information for me to start with and then I began speaking with Burm owners so I could get more hands-on information and their tried and true tips. I also worked with a local rescue organization before getting my snakes so that I was comfortable with what I was doing and not so much of a newbie.
