Well, as you are probably aware that is my animal for sale and for this reason I've refrained from posting. I've never bred these animals but have owned three so far. As pets I think they are excellent because they are extremely hardy and tolerant. They require the least amount of pampering and attention of any boa I've ever owned. Their temperament is super and I've never heard a comment from anyone otherwise. There are literally only a hand full of breeders in this country that produce Sanzinia because they do not produce large litters (similar to ball pythons)but unlike balls are not easy to breed. Most breeders prefer to crank out huge litters one after another for profit and in my opinion this is the main reason this species has not caught on with the masses. I'd love to see a quality breeder like Gus Rentfro produce them because then they'd be recognized and appreciated almost overnight. Are you reading this Gus? I feel they are way undervalued since there are so few produced each year and it is illegal to export any from Madagascar. In other words what's here is here and there really aren't all that many around. Why haven't they caught on? The truth is as you can see from the lack of response here is the majority of people don't know squat about them. In conclusion, if you want to make a killing breeding these then forget it. If you want an extremely rare low maintenance exotic animal that will surely be a favorite in your collection then they are perfect! But you didn't hear this from me because I'm the owner lol. If you would like links to more specific information feel free to contact me.
