Please let us know how this turns out? I have seen this weird shedding/not shedding thing with 2-3 of mine since starting up my collection again in 2000. Not with gravid females, but with youngsters. I kept them a little extra humid, and they have always gone ahead and shed correctly the next cycle..leaving me puzzled. I bet she'll just stay sort of "crinkly" and then go into another shed cycle before long.



An unusual thing some of my girls are doing right now is: They are having faster shed cycles this winter and early spring....and these are 3-5 year old girls. Their feeding schedule and prey item has remained the same - they are just shedding more often these last four months. I have an 01 Ghost female that has had me scratching my noggin. It seems like she sheds, and then before I know it, she is starting into another shed cycle. She appears to be the picture of health and I'm not worried about her...just puzzled. Maybe it's the weather systems here? We did have an unusually cold, snowy, wet winter....(so much so, that the local farmers and ranchers are saying another winter like this and we'll be out of our drought). That's the only thing I can think of that has been different in their lives.



Anyway, let us know what happens with her. These things are great learning tools for folks like me. Very best wishes on those babies! I'm hoping my Leopard male will find "romance" someday soon
