hey, how is your rescue doing??? I have been wrapped up with Luna but still thinking of you
I cannot remember who it was that squeezed and bent the tip so that the water just dripped slowly around the ball and the cham's tongue would trigger it to release more. I tried it (need to be careful of sharp edges - I can explain more if you want) but the dripper was not at a good angle. I also tried without bending the tip, as some folks said the shiny ball would attract them and I thought she was going to get it - but alas, even my brilliant Luna didn't get it -lol! Now I just hold it and hand water.
Can you move the dripper to drip into a container? I have mine in a corner above a pothos so it hits the leaves but then it drips into some catch basins. Takes some time to get it right - like one the cham sticks his head under it the drops bounce in all directions and you come home to wet floors! (lol!) so try it on a weekend or when you are home. I actually have 3 different tubs to catch and it works really well. So when I am not home (really, I am not here 24/7 even tho' it probably seems it!) I don't have to worry. You can sort of see it in this photo on the left (laying tub is on right behind plant)I stick rolled up towels on the side to catch any bouncy drips! I usually have a big croton in front of the tubs, but her laying tub calls for redecorating - something I am getting used to!
