Well we gave her the last of 5 baytril shots 2 days ago. Todayher status is:
Ready to shed any day. I have been giving her a bath every day for 15 min. part for the belly rot part to help what I expect to be a troubled shed. She does not seem to be too stressed about it.
As far as the respiratory infection goes, her mouth has some crusties where the moucus has dried up but there is still a bit more excess saliva that is clear not yellow as before. I took her back to the guy who passed her into my care and he thinks she needs another round of baytril so that we don't let this last bit rebound. So I am thinking of getting 3 more shots to give to her. That will give me another week of treatment. The baytril definately has helped clear it up and I guess it is better to be cautious. I still get a heavy breath out of her every so often. No more gurgeling but there is something still there.
