tanks tend to amplify temps int he cage, sounds like she is too hot that may be why she is going to the bottom int he opposit side of the cage she is trying to thermal regulate, If a screened cage is not a option i would suggest a larger High tank this will alow for cooler areas so she can regulate her temps. this may be the same issue that your female veild is having as well with the tems, as for the eye if she has fluid or mucas comming out of the eye i would make sure she is getting a few long mistings and if it is still present id suspect a infection.
