Thx Paul for your reply.
Is it just me or is this genetics thing really confusing ? lol oh well with you guys help on here i am sure i will get to grips eventually.
AnywayI think i must have looked at about 50 websites yesterday checking out the different photos of colour morph corns, and i am certain that the male is definitely a snow.No confusion there. The female however is causing the problem in identification. From the photos i have seen on the net she may be either a sunglow or an amenalistic as some sites had photos of each which looked identical to mine.
And as for the youngster i have seen from the pairs clutch last year then yes i agree with you that they are candy canes there is no doubt, every photo i have seen on the net of baby candy cane corns is identical to the young they produced last year.
So bearing this in mind is the female a sunglow which might explain the youngsters they produced ?? Or maybe she is carrying a heterozygous trait for miami from what you said in your reply to my previous post ???
So confused now
