I am not sure what type it is but it is yellow and black with a checkered pattern with little tinges of blue that are only visible when it breathes, I think it is a plains Garter. Anyway I was feeding it guppies but recently switched to feeder goldfish. The gold fish look to be about 1 1/2 to 2X the snakes diameter and he is eating them like crazy. I figured 2 a day would be good but today he ate 3 and was looking for more. Any ideas on how much he should eat? can they over eat? Should I be feeding him other [ Hide Replies ]
