well....nothing, since they're solitary critters. However, I made up my own word, and I call them a "snaggle of snakelings" and here is a small "snaggle" of babies.
I find it interesting, in light of their serpentine solitariness, when they are placed in a little group like this on my kitchen table, they want to stay together. Even with me moving them around and untangling them....nobody wants to leave the group and head for the "hills". I think it's kind of cute - like they feel safer together. Maybe it's because I keep my babies together in pairs, that they are used to being with another snake. Whatever the reason, I was amused that not one of these could be coaxed into leaving the "snaggle ".
The Ghost and the orange (Ghost/Hog)are from my '04 litters. The others are babies I have gotten from my friends.
The one with the yellowish base color & long orange tail is one of Davey Giltner's Yellow pastels. She is getting more yellow with each shed. It's much easier to see in "snake" than in my pics.
The pink one is one of John Lokken's little girls. Is she turning into a rose or what?
The other baby with the beautiful brick red tail is from Mike Weitzman's Aby litter. Me thinks a Jungle was lurking in the wood pile
Enjoy the pics.... Jessica is stubbornly waiting me out and baby watch is getting old, so I'm going to bed...
