Posted by: serpentcity at Sun Apr 24 15:38:17 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by serpentcity ] ....some males it's pretty early at 6-8 months of age and others it can be 12-18 months or even longer...partly it's genetic and partly food intake/cycling...pastels and spiders seem to kick in pretty early but this may be an artifact of "pushing" the snakes...my pastel sired a clutch last year when he was under 9 months and 720 gm, but this year my mojave didn't show much interest at 9-10 months and similar weight...now at one year I'm going to try him on a female that looks like she may be receptive...only 1 way to find out and that's putting them with a girl...good luck... | ||
