For movement within the United States, permits are only required for interstate transport of species listed under the US Endangered Species Act regardless of CITES listing. This is why permits are needed within the U.S. for species such as Indian pythons and Indigo's and not for Dumerils or Argentines, even though all are Appendix I. Hope this helped clarify it somewhat; it is a situation a lot of people have questions about. | ||
