requesting general info for a newbie

im a newbie on the list, sorry if this is on here somewhere already, but i have a problem. i just bought an african side-neck from the pet store, & planned on him living with a few other turtles (box turtle & florida yellow belly) in a tank thats already set up & running. the side-neck is significantly larger than either of the others, but i didnt think it would be too much of a problem...but hes gotten aggressive with the yellow belly already. is this normal? im hoping its just new guy jitters...right now, hes separated from the rest, but its a temporary set-up. any information you can give me would be really appreciated. if i cant get him to behave he might have to go back to the store, but i would rather avoid that. any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance...
